Thala Ajith Kumar’s (next) 50th film

Thala Ajith Kumar’s (next) 50th film was reported to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon who directed vinnaithaandi varuvaaya. But kollywood is expecting ultimate star ajith's next movie Mangatha to be directed by Venkat Prabhu. Ajith’s call sheet is owned by Cloud Nine and that the movie will be directed by Venkat Prabhu and not Gautham. The movie is set in the backdrop of Mumbai’s Dharavi slums and the movie is titled as Mangatha. Mangatha, the name itself sounds very typical slum. Hope there will be a good treat for Ajith's fan. Also it is said that Cloud Nine is also said to own the call sheet of director Gautham Menon.

Dayanidhi has proposed to utilize director Venkat Prabhu for the dates he had obtained from Thala Ajith. After completing his movie ‘Chennai 28’, Venkat Prabhu had been hunting for dates from Thala Ajith with a story in hand. Now he is all set to make full use of the chance he was so long waiting for.

Venkat Prabhu has named his movie as ‘Mangatha’. There is yet another specialty of the movie. That is Nagarjun will be acting alongside Ajith in an important role in the movie. It seems the director has also targeted the movie for Telugu audiences as well


Thala Ajith's 50th film is going to be launched soon. Tollywood star Nagarjuna was approached for an important role in the film to which, the actor is said to have given his nod.
